I am a multimedia mosaic artist whose work and practice draws inspiration from brightly blooming flowers, scenes outside my window, a spider swinging from the end of its silk in a small patch of a rainforest, Indian patterns and motifs and just about anything that touches my heart.
I fell in love with the art of mosaic in 2011 in Sydney, Australia, where I first learned to shape soft petals from rigid, square glass at the Ku-Ring-Gai Art Centre.
Over the course of last 15 years, I have relentlessly challenged the creative possibilities that lie in a small square piece of glass. In doing so, I have also discovered new ways of expressing my creative ideas using the medium of glass and ceramic.
Now living in the quaint town of Kenilworth, UK, I have found homes in places all around the world. Born and raised across the north and south of India (Amritsar, Delhi, Hyderabad), I first moved to the UK in 1998. Echoes of my travels, experiences, and memories flow through my work.
